Gneissly is a barred plymouth rock. Gneiss is a "sort of" barred metamorphic rock. His ladies are Iggy and Seddie. Figure out what they are short for

What types of odds and ends? How many? I have 2 more broodies that I was planning to break, but might consider giving them some eggs to hatch instead.

By Wednesday, I should have 3 or 4 FBCMs, 8 or 9 W/BW Ameraucanas and a goodly number of BWA X Polish EEs.

Yep, I know gneiss, and Iggy and Seddie are great names, too! We have not been so creative in our chicken naming. My friends named their cat Esker.

My Ameraucana that hatched out the three marans... 2 of 3 are roos.

When I get another 6, I'll just give you the eggs. Hopefully one or two will be pullets. Might be sometime around April 1st....
I won't be hatching Marans for my Easter Hatch, so you may as well.
