Wow, thanks for sharing. Thanks for what you and yours are doing.

Wow G, thanks for sharing the video. Thanks for allowing God to use you in this way to help others. I was so emotional watching it I'm going to post it on my facebook.

BTW, tell the girls CC is doing great!! She is sooooooooooooo spoiled. She jumps on the swing with me in the afternoon and wants in my lap. I bought her a bag of cornmeal and have been mixing it with various things to bulk it and she runs to us when he step outside. She still has not found the perfect place to lay her eggs and tried laying from the perch this morning. She will figure it out, and yes she ignore the rooster.

There are no words for how much I love what we do down in Mexico. I truly believe that I get as much out of it as the people we are serving. It makes me a better person. I come home so thankful for all I have. My house seems HUGE after being there. There are just so many things that have left me so blessed that I had no words. The need is so great, and I sometimes feel like we are putting drops in a bucket. We got some devastating news about one of the people we work with down there a couple of weeks ago. But we just keep going. I wish I could take everyone with me. If any of you want to go with us sometime, just let me know. I go once a month this time of year, but about once a week in the summer.

The girls and I are so happy to hear Candy Cane is doing so well. She is a sweet little chicken and it sounds like she has found a perfect home. And so you know, she has never had a perfect place to lay. She just lays wherever she happens to be. She has laid eggs on my front porch, on top of the chicken shelter, the middle of the yard, wherever. That always made me laugh.

Ginger... God bless you for your work there. What a wonderful experience for your kids, I'm certain that they appreciate more of what they are blessed with here.

Many of those pics reminded me of my mission in Ecuador 33 years ago.

It is truly a miracle when lives change.

My thoughts exactly Mohonri.. I use to take my kids to the aging home my grandmother was at and they would spend hours playing cards, singing, eating, and just listening to the elderly and dying residents. My kids still talk about how wonderful it was, however it was when gas was cheaper and we could afford to drive to Tucson twice a week.

Well the ☼ is shinning and the chickens are all out. I can't believe we don't have the pool cleaned yet. We have solar panels to warm it up. I better get the kids to work.

Well the sun is shining, the kids are behaving, I'm gonna go lay a little sod for the chicken pen. Already made a Home Depot run for quick crete in order to sink holes for the grapevine trellis. It's just poles and wires, but I think it'll work. I'm currently hand turning the clay in order to add amendments.

44 eggs going in at noon dont think the mail person will be here by noon!! so some a little later & some on monday!!
