Started the chicken coop today. Already full of blisters and splinters. I also bought the wrong screws so done for now until I can go into town again tomorrow. Darn I hate when that happens and you live 14 miles from a Homedepot

Today it was HOT here. We planted our garden, a bit late but better than never. We planted giant pumpkins and sunflowers in rows along the front of the house. Now if I could plant something to hide my ugly house from view of anyone who could see it. We did tons of yard work and clean up. We still have alot to go. We got new siding put up on the street side a few days ago too. It feels like an accomplishing week.

Turkeybreeder - A third chick is out (It was taking too long and the membrane was starting ti dry out so It got a helping hand.

So my sis just finished painting the gate a bright purple. She decided to go have a snack. I put the can of blue paint (semi-open) next to her gate, cause she needed that next. I left to talk to my Dad about my friend Gabe coming over tomorrow.

Enter the three year old.

That beautiful royal purple gate+three year old who found paintbrush+open can of COBALT BLUE= disaster.
O well, time to repaint, i suppose...
