. I have three EE chicks from Mahalo4. if more than one ends up a hen you can have the extras. Too young to know if girls or boys yet though. I only have room for 1 in my coop. Took all three hoping one is a girl. But maybe they all will be

YAY!!! So glad to hear it. Sometimes it takes something bad to pull everyone together for good. I hope they all keep working together through this and beyond. Where are they?

TT! :

I've been trying to sell 2 polish and a red hen!

Do you have any idea who stole them, or a way to lock the chicken coop? I would be so upset

I'm sorry. People suck.

I wish we could get the black polish! Since our white crested black polish is the only rooster so far that I like enough to keep, that will be the only chicks we will raise. We have no hen at present, though. Makes it a little difficult. We have no more room for standards right now, though. I have got to get DH building that coop!!!

Heather--I'm really sorry that happened! What is wrong with people? We don't keep our coop locked. I can't imagine people would steal someone else's pet.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Jen. I am new to chickens and I just got 3 new baby chicks two days ago. I got 1 production red, 1 silver lace wynadotte and 1 Americana (as they were labeled at the feed store).
I am in San Tan Valley! Anyone else in my area?

Well, I called today a cleaning day instead of a school day, and the house still isn't clean. You know it must have been bad to start with. Oh, well. It will be finished by tomorrow and I can go back to being the slave driver with the kids' school. Sometimes life just gets so hectic that the house comes last. Then you look around and it is screaming at you with some not so nice words until you pay attention to it again.

It was good to meet you, too, Larissa.

Thanks for the eggs. My hen, Bo was happy to have them.

Don't worry about your house, mine isn't much better because housework isn't high on my list of priorities.

My kids are supposed to help with the chores which helps get more done but not perfectly.

My son was inspired by your yard and put in some sticks to mark our a run for our chickens.

So, if my husband is willing to help put one in, then the chickens will have more freedom to roam.

Thanks for showing us around.
