Well I think I'm hatched out with 22 out of 24 that I guess is pretty darn good. Much better than anticipated. I would one pipped and died in the shell, opened it up to see exactly how crowed they are in that little egg. Poor baby had its head between it's legs.

Well on a good note, it's raining!! Yea!! I can hear the chickens now chucking for grass and weeds. They had run out early in the season and I had resorted to begging the neighbors for cut grass. This is help I'm sure. Everyone have a great Saturday!!

Hi,
I have 5 eggs left that haven't pipped, and 2 that have pipped over 24 hours ago ... what do you guys think the chances are they will hatch? If they haven't had any progress by tonight, I would guess they are not going to. What day do you usually wait until before you are sure they are all not going to hatch (I've read as late as day 24). Mine technically are not due until today, or were due yesterday depending on which serama information you read. It's just weird that all of the rest were so quick to pip, that the 5 have not pipped seems like a bad sign to me.
What do you guys think?
