It is my ad! They are adorable (They are named Phyllis and Diller) but they are too skittish for my tastes. I'd like to make room for chickens that I'll actually like. If I go outside with treats, they run away. I suspect it is because they can't see very well. I hear they'll calm down as they get older, but oh well. I think I'm going to stay away from ornamentals now.

Great names! We are tempted, but resisting for the same reasons you are getting rid of them. We want friendly birds. I agree they are adorable! Good luck!​

RE Polish - What happens if you give them a little trim on top? Or a bow like NoSkiveez did? Does their demeanor improve? Yes, of course I am asking about chickens, not people from Poland!

Mahalo! I pulled two of my friends over to the dark side

, so we ended up making a chicks order together. So no FBCM for me!

A little bummed, but I got a Silver Cuckoo Marans and thats a good 2nd.

Everyone's chicks are SO CUTE!!! I so want to hatch some next year. Evil, just EVIL how this stuff gets you!!!

Off to buy stuff for my brooder and Chx 1st Aid Kit since my chicks will be here Tuesday-ish! I ended up getting Silver Laced Wyandottes, Speckled Sussex, Ameraucanas, and Silver Cucko Marans (and Plymouth Rocks, but for my friends, not for me). SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Oh ps, I will approx 4 each of SLW, Ameraucanas, and SCM and 1 PR leftover if anyone is interested. All female, vaccinated, from darkbrowneggs (dot) com.

I just gave mine a warm mash with yogurt. Then they went out and took a bath under the oleander, in the rain. I guess they aren't so cold. I'm a sucker.
