Maybe next week? Seattle Espresso on McClintock & Warner? at 8?

Caffeine and Chickens, does it get better than this? Only if I can involve soapmaking in some way!

Okay, strange request time....

Could y'all please click on the facebook link in my signature and tell me what you get? "Should be" the Smiles-N-Sunshine Farm facebook page, with profile pic the same as the one here on BYC. But Gallo de Ciello (sp) says it took him to another BYCer's page.

(And no, this is not a cheap trick to get you to "like" us on facebook......)

Thanks,

Where in AZ are you? I'm in Cochise County, and have Australorp x Delaware chicks available. "Rent-A-Hen" services available for chicken newbies!

Hope to hear from you again soon!

Bryan

I'm in Tucson...well Marana-area if you want to be more specific.

What would you recommend for the bedding? Some say sand, some say natural dirt, others think fine shavings. I can't decide.

Start with an old handtowel (with the nap for grip), after a few days change to shavings. Depending on the number of babies, you may need to clean a couple or three times per day. I don't like sand with babies.

Thanks! I have plenty of old towels, that is a great suggestion!

Smiles-N-Sunshine, here's what I just copied from your sig. line:

Smiles-N-Sunshine Farm (Palominas, Arizona): Delaware and Australorp chickens, Khaki Campbell ducks, Jumbo Brown Coturnix quail, New Zealand White rabbits, Texan Pioneer pigeons, Midget White turkeys, composting redworms and mealworms.
We're on Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= … 2355012774

sez you're Joe Graef

ETA: O.K. the link isn't working, but if I click on your link, this is what comes up: http://www.facebook.com/people/Joe-Graef/1421289020 It's weird because the last numbers don't match up at all. Why would my browser do this?
