Arizona Chickens

5pinkarrows, your kids look so extremely well behaved! Wow. If I would live any closer to your destination you could stay at my place. I will have pleanty of space starting in May. Fresh eggs included

Thanks!! You are so sweet! I have to say, they really are good girls. I like to take them out to eat just because I get someone come from another table to tell me how impressed they are with my girls' behavior almost every time. They are my full time job, so the compliments on their behavior is sort of my paycheck.

Of course, there are moments when I am ready to let the chickens live inside and put the girls in the coops.

we payed with paypal
do you mean of the inside of the box
or outside of the box

Log into your paypal account and click on that transaction and file a dispute. Its very easy to do, but you are limited on time. Paypal will moderate the transaction an decide who is at fault. If paypal sides with you, then you will get ypur money back and you can buy from someone who has experience shipping eggs.

they said if i file a dispute with paypal they would sue me
and if i wrote how they package in the reviews they would sue me
so i will just leave it like that

Laree--so sorry about the puker. How did this happen again? I thought you got out for good behavior?

pimachickens--BWA HA HA HA!!! I have to admit that I get tempted to get a mealworm colony every time I throw away a banana peel. These folks are total enablers.

Nurseshelly-- Those seremas are sooooooo cute! I just love how you set the whole background. I think you should name the one with eyeliner Cleopatra. It kind of goes with Queen Latifah.

AZBootsie--I love the awkward phase. They don't quite look like chickens, but they are still super cute.

Me too. IEP and Behavioral Plan meeting at the school this afternoon. Ugh.

Ugh!!! Hope it went well!!! We could do chicken therapy if you are off on Friday and drive to that Feed Barn place and check it out - LOL! I think it's one of the few I haven't been to yet!

Early release Friday, so we'd have to hurry it up. But I think it's doable.

I didn't realize there were two! I have no idea what to do. We are going because we have been doing the Apologia Marine Biology for science this year. I thought it would be great for the kids to see some of these creatures up close. It is supposed to be an educational trip, but fun. It sure should not cost a fortune and last only 20 minutes. So maybe the other one? I will start looking it up online. Thanks for the advice! I knew someone on here would be able to help.

AZdreamer--thanks for the link. I will check out that hotel.

Sea Life is maybe the size of a department store, made into a maze of aquariums and tide pools. Really neat but for us it was more than a dollar a minute ($24 for 20 minutes). My son did do some of the educational stuff too, like petting different ocean animals, and reading posters. We got to the end and I felt like "that's it?" The Sea Life at Legoland is much bigger. The one at WWZ is 4 big buildings (I think they were working on number 5), and there are educational plaques and posters, but not as many things to touch. You could spend all day there between the zoo and the aquarium, and they have a fun log ride to cool off with. It's 27.50 for adults/kids over 12 and $14.25 for kids 3 - 12. Since Sea Life is almost as much as the adult cost, I would go to WWZ and buy lots of Hickman's eggs with the BOGO coupon!

Lets do it!!! Thank goodness K does not have early release at his school!

LOL! Not like the time we were in LaJolla when K was 3 or so, and K threw a tantrum and threw his IBC root beer bottle across the table next to us and took out all of their drinks! OMG DH and I were so mortified!

They were really nice about it (probably because they had 4 kids with them), and thank goodness nobody got hurt! He couldn't have thrown it better if he had practiced for a month ... it was like table bowling.

Hmm Cleopatra would be good too

I NEED mealworm colony at some point too - the chickens love them SO much! It would be chicken abuse NOT to have some.

Here is our new little dude. He LOOOOOVES the dollhouse. I can't let him out much because 2 of the dogs want to taste him....just one bite, I'm sure. He is neutered, litter trained, and seems very sweet. He is a year old, and we are his 4th home. I hope we can make him happy. Poor guy! We are still trying to agree on a name. He has never had a name before.

I suspect he is one of last Easter's impulse buys.
