Arizona Chickens

Okay you all, you can tell I'm a newbie. I bought some hay last night for the nesting boxes because I'm out of paper to shred and after the rain things were wet and mildew. I put a nice layer of hay in last night. I woke up and went like I do every morning to check on the chickens and discover they were still sitting in coop. When I opened the egg box the hay was missing.

Newbie tip #1. If you put green hay in the nest, it will magically disappear.

Now I have to hide the bundle from them before they eat themselves sick.

I put an entire bale of alfalfa in a section of their run and spread it out a little. I never had a problem with them getting sick. I think they loved it, they spent a lot of time nibbling it and looking for bugs.

Are there any vegetarians in this thread? I thought I read ages ago there was someone else.

Even my 3 year old is a vegetarian

Does anyone know if I can put my 3 week old chick's brooder outside during the day? It's suppose to be 89 today.. wondering if it's too hot for them? What age do the chicks gain heat tolerance?

Also, is there anywhere local where I can buy a coop/run setup? Or a chicken tractor?

I am itching to get my 3 chicks outside because they are stinking up my guest room

Turkey - any chance she can make lard-free ones? Lard scares me.

we use margarine so it does not have cholesterol

and the vegetable crisco so they dont have
cholesterol are number one priority of are family
has been the health of the people
that eat the tamales also do to many
people with heart conditions
and also the corn ones are made
out of fresh corn they are one of the best
for vegetarians and also my moms
makes the red chili ones of vegetables
also one of my gradmothers favorite
she was a vegetarian​
