There really are supposed to be taste differences between different kinds of salt. I picked up some sea salt and some kosher salt. Liked both, but didn't think I saw much difference between them and regular old salt. Next time I needed salt though, neither were available, so I went back to Mortons. NOW I notice the difference, and miss the good stuff.

On that same note, I like the multi-coloured pepper much better than plain black pepper. FWIW, the pink pepper comes from Brazillian Pepper trees--just like the one in my yard

So, Laree, how do you pronounce your name?

Multi-colored pepper are different species, so yes, some are yummier than others. I totally agree.

Dyed food only tastes as different as the different colored M&Ms do.

Morton's salt is different, but I only notice it with the idodized stuff.

MAH nah-hame, is LAH RHIS AH. Or Larry, to my peeps.

hi laree is your name larissa

we talk to a hatchery yesterday and ask if there was a difference on cluckin noise from the chickens and they said no
they said any breed of chicken will cluck when they lay an egg when one chicken lays an egg the rest also cluck
with the hen that lay an egg so remember that is going to be all the hens you have clucking
at the same time 3,4, 5,6 hens clucking at the same time so good luck with the people that have hoa
its probably better to ask the person in charge of hoa in your neighborhood maybe
give some eggs to the neighbors so they are happy good luck to everyone that lives in hoa

I believe it! Same with water. When I was in Iraq in 2003 (prior to air conditioning) we drank A LOT of water, and could tell the differences and developed preferences between the various labels. Outside the US, bottled water has the mineral content listed in detail, and I forget which but one of the minerals seemed to contribute to tastiness.

This concludes your useless information for today..... back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Weird question...I'm getting 5 different breeds of chicks, 25 chicks total. They'll be separated in the shipping box by breed, but I only have one brooder/one feeder/one waterer, etc. So they'll all be dumped in there together. I am only keeping 1 chick of each breed, so I need a way to know what breeds the other chicks are because I'm selling the rest on Craigslist.

I don't want to accidentally give someone a SS instead of an Ameraucana or something, lol.

Is there way to label them??? I thought of painting 1 toenail with polish, but then wouldnt they try to peck at it???
