Arizona Chickens

Blue Olive Egger Roo, free to anyone here!

One more time. This is my last shot at finding him a home before he becomes dinner. He is a great bird, friendly, not aggressive, will come up to visit. 11 weeks old, vaccinated for Marek's. He is a good, calm guy. I could potentially drive up to Casa Grande or Tempe if it means he gets to have a home. Let me know if you want him ASAP, before Sunday, so he is not sent to freezer camp.

How can you resist this face?

Sure, please! As long as they don't just want him for dinner. We have resigned ourselves to the possibility that he will become green chile stew. We can put him on the schedule for next weekend.

As long as we are on the subject, are you around this weekend? We have a couple of questions before we jump in and start processing.

I'll take him, have a small flock of 17 12 week old hens that will need a roo...

623-nine one zero-0345 names Bill and I am near Wickenburg in Morristown....

Call if you want.

I see you are in Tucson, could meet near Chandler or ?????

Hooray for finding your guy a home!
Are you processing others this weekend? Would you mind a bystander/helper? I would really like to learn if you don't mind the company.

Hooray! Thanks. I'll give you a call this weekend. Meeting in Chandler or Tempe next week or weekend would be fine.

Great it's a date and my 13 year old fell in love at first sight as did my 6 year old grand son. Somehow we got 17 hens out of 17 chicks purchased and he will be a happy boy....

Let me know when and we will get it done....

Southeastern,
just want to say hi! Wickenburg here. This is good, more chicken-addicts on this side of the Valley

. Congrats on taking on that beauty.

It looks like tomorrow will be a real scorcher. Today I decided to give the hens some cantelope instead of their usual watermelon. Ugh! Both coops were overrun by ants within a few hours. I've learned my lesson and will stick with the watermelon and tomatoes from now on.
