Lucky you - my 2 Easter Egger roos are still looking for a home - I'll probably have to take them to the Stock Shop this weekend.

No squawking here - everything has seems fine

Well that is to say all my extra roosters from the Feb hatch have found homes. I have another 6 or so from the Easter Hatch still.

Ok-- I wrote it all out and the internet hiccuped and it was lost during posting.

Shane ate half of it right after dinner. I hid the rest in the corner of the fridge and snuck bites all week. Then the MIL found the leftovers, ate it, and we had to fight.

I'll make some more next weekend for a birthday and then take pics and translate the recipe and put it on my website. It's surprisingly easy to make.

DS#4 is home and asleep. nurseshelly came by to say "Hi" and "Bye" as he was getting discharged.

Nurse Linda warned us that he might throw up. He hadn't been home two minutes and went into the bathroom and vomited... there went breakfast, dinner and the medicine he was given just before we headed down to the car.

Then the resident there prescribed the wrong medicine. The pharmacy called and changed the valium to 2mg. pretty much worthless IMHO.

Just praying we stay cool today and that I don't loose any birds.

My thermometer said 115 in my back yard this afternoon....

The two pens without the AC were suffering... in the coop with the AC many of the birds are molting... I guess they think it's September! Hopefully that means a goodly number of Ameraucana eggs in a few weeks.

The little roos went to their new home today, thank goodness. I've been calling home and having Emmy put frozen watermelon in with the hens and frozen milk jub in with the juvies. I'm so worried!
