Oi! Looks like I'm going to be toughing this out myself. BUT I've decided that when it gets cool we're gonna have a potluck bbq or something. You can make cupcakes then and I'll get to hold your baby. Maybe get a bouncy for all the kidlets that come (and mine of course).

My DH isn't an animal/bug/camping/weed guy. I'm in charge of everything that breathes or grows. He's in charge of movies, candy, frozen treats, and the boat. He informed me last night that I should have interviewed his ex-wife. HA! almost 14 years too late for that, lovey.

I like the idea of a bbq/potluck! Last time we went to a party with a bouncy, my husband had more fun in it than the kids did!

That's funny about your DH, mine loves bugs, camping, hunting, and weeds...we own a weed control company! So maybe he hates them, since he kills them for a living.

He just doesn't believe in "spoiling" animals. To him, animals are animals, chickens, chickens, etc. They serve their purpose, and that's it. There's no emotional attachment there. But the other day, I saw him holding and petting one of our hens. He promptly let her go when he saw me. Don't tell him I caught him!

Pastrymama- I hate going on vacation for that very reason. We were gone for 36 hours and lost one. It just died. No one ever takes as good care of them as you do. the time before my friends were suppose to be taking care of everything. First vacation with me and DH with out kids in 4 years and 2 serama chicks froze and the dog shredded the new couches ( I mean destroyed). needless to say we wont be going anywhere for a long time.

I could help some, but I would need to do an hour here, and hour there ... can't manage a whole day / morning.

I think she prefers email to PMs.

Yes, I can follow the actual conversation on email; with PMs I can never figure out what do delete to save room--everything seems like--gosh, gotta save this--I know I'll need or want it some day. Or I fully intend to delete once whatever is under discussion of done, but then I forget. If I delete messages as I view them, then I forget what all was said by the time I finish my reply or receive a reply to my reply. Anyways, I really do try to get back to emails--about the only time I don't is when I get overwhelmed with life and everythign happening at once. So, if you do not hear back in a day or two, try again. I promise I am not deliberately ignoring you--but sometimes messages do end up in spam or so many come in at once that I miss one.

Well I just sent you an email.

But I get the PM thing. I ALWAYS clean it out the day before I need something. Then I have to re-PM whomever for whatever info.

I should just get an address book. It would solve so many problems.
