Does anyone know where I can get Manna Pro or Nutrena in the Mesa area? Or, a local/AZ brand of feed? Ideally, I'd like to have a feed mill make a custom grind for me when I get my broiler chicks. I was not happy with Purina Flock Raiser. Not to mention the price!

I'd be willing to drive to Casa Grande or Buckeye to pick up a couple of months worth of feed if I have to.

as far as i know, the only store in the metro area to have manna pro is the feed barn up by me, 23rd ave and lone tree(deer valley). nutrena is az feeds(supposed to be crap). i have no clue if anyone in casa grande has manna pro, what type are you looking for? i frequent tucson, that's why i asked yesterday if any of the stores down there had it.

Broiler, starter and grower. Pretty zoo, I'll need layer, too.
What I'd really like to find is a place that sells whole grains. I'd like to just start mixing my own rations if I could find a premix and a protein, like roasted soybean meal or something.

I lived on OK for 11 years and grew up in CO. We'll probably move to OK. Not perfect but at least we can afford 40 acres, it has seasons, a little snow and pasture. Awesome guys! I have a blue silkie, too. I went to the feed store and it was all alone. someone bought all but one! So i felt guilt and bought it. I am a sucker for the weak and small ones!
