I was afraid to post anything on that thread after Mikey got his hand smacked with a ruler.

I did post and I got slapped big time with a PM!

I thought I sounded serious!? I am not as good a poker player as TT (sigh). Maybe I am getting points now

I thought you sounded serious, too! Can't believe you got in trouble. She must have no sense of humor.

Nah! she is just very concerned about the tender feelings of her art students, especially young TT! She just did not want me to make a joke out of those drawings.
She is not good in psychology though. If I were to look at the drawings and then at the Avatar, I might get somewhat suspicious...

Get to bed... the tartar will always be there and your nimble hands and instruments will rid all the mouths of it. I did a four unit bridge today... I need to do a couple of those every week. I have one set up for next month.

Even though I was surprised.. (I can't keep up with this thread, it goes too fast) Meg's beautiful girls will be my new olive egger crew. They are in with the BCM roo and 3 BCM hens in a 4X10 pen.

I won't be getting any more eggs hatched until at least October... hopefully I'll have more laying by then.
Between now and then I think I'll be keeping my SLW, one light Brahama and one buff, my NH red and selling my RIR, one of my buff brahmas, my blue EE and my old PW leghorn. That or they'll all get to know the farm in Mesa or my cousins farm in far west Phoenix.

I'm tired... watched Avatar with the kids... I don't know why we keep that movie around, it's so violent, but I suppose it is an escape to a fantasy world. By the end of the week we should know where DS#3 is going to spend the next two years of his life.

That is awesome! Are you hoping he goes foreign or stays in the states?

I laughed soooo hard this morning. Woke people up. First the AZ thread, then the art class.

ca, I thought your comment was perfect. I was tempted to poke with a sharper stick; I'm glad I didn't now!

Congratulations on your points!

Question. I got a couple of "LF" B/W ameraucana pulletts from aurorarose25. At the time she told me they were 5 months old. When I saw them I realized they were waaaaay younger. I have had them now for 6 weeks or so. They don't really seem to grow much. They are in fact now behind my backyard mixes hatched the end of May. Did I just get the really slow pokes? I have a couple of black Ameraucanas from Sandhill and they did not procrastinate like this. Problem is I have no clue when these were hatched. When I got them I guessed 14 weeks old. I would guess the same today

. Any of you got some siblings from her and have the same problem? Anybody know when they were hatched?

Have you checked for mites lately? I have some LF who got mites at the most inopportune part of their growth. Now they will all be runts.

I pick them up daily as they are super friendly (or just whimps). I did not notice anything but will take a finetooth comb tonight...
