Tracydr- how about Silver City, NM or even by me in Animas, NM. The university at Silver is WNMU. It is alot cooler there and there are alot of little towns around with decent land. Especially animas!! There is even a house for sale by me with 20 acres!

I'd feed it to him. As long as it's cooked, why not? I love the smell of slow cooked poultry.

We have pinto beans in the pressure cooker right now. It smells pretty good-but it certainly won't evoke any thoughts of Thanksgiving.

I've seen dogs eat some pretty rasty stuff & be fine with it.

I think they're built for it.

Oh, and this summer wore out its welcome long ago. We're not quite as brutally hot as you guys in Phoenix, but it's still been too darn hot here. 108 at the airport, 114 in my backyard, and it's the last day of August, for crying out loud, not the middle of June or July. We had that ridiculous cold snap this past winter and now this unrelenting heat with no relief in sight. This is easily among the worst summers I've experienced here. (1994 was probably the worst. 2003 and 2005 were bad too. 2011 may be the worst yet.) I was going to be good and not have ice cream tonight... screw it. I'm overheated.
