Arizona Chickens

This is mine I made up of 4" pvc, it was quite simple to make but the fittings were a bit pricey. (I have connections though) I used 4" so I could freeze the 52oz QT cups and then just drop that block of ice in throughout the day. It works great! To bad the hens don't care for it.

I know I know the coop is filthy, time to clean it out.

The linoleum was for a couple of different reasons and done on a whim. It is easier to sweep the floor out and then I try to throw that into the garden. I also thought since the chickens were ALWAYS on my concrete porch in the summer that the linoleum might be something cool for them to hang out on; coarse I need to finish covering the insulation and get an ac unit in there. Maybe by next summer, there is always next summer right?

I'll take them both--I can always use more waterers...especially in hot, hot summer. Just let me know cost. I can build coops, but waterers are beyond me.

Mikey D- Got snake if freezer for son! Will let you know when he is coming that way! I got his head pretty good, put maybe he can do something...my husband also has an intact one for him...but it is a rattle snake....yikes!

He better be. It took all my courage and strength to bag up that monster dead snake. I even doubt bagged it hopeing that I wouldn't be able to see it through the bag. Not the case. It is the first thing you see when you open the freezer. It is in the appropriate freezer..the one I like to call the Dead carcus freezer. I don't eat meat...much less look at it. We have his and her freezers. Mine is full of Gluten free crap since I have celiac disease and his is full of steaks from our ranch and snakes now!
