You must feed peepers or I will have to come and take them away from you.

Tracy, I know how to segment a grapefruit. For whatever reason, culinary school felt it was important that we learn that skill. Canning at Tracy's Ladies? But don't make her angrypants......

Anybody having problems with dog ticks? I've never seen them in AZ before this summer. Found two on my Doberman. My next door neighbor came by yesterday, said he's pulled 40-50 off his dog since July. He was wondering if it had to do with the big Haboob.
He's using nasty poisons every week so he's probably killed all the good bugs and also is probably not getting any insect eating birds, which we have tons of.
Anyway, wondering if anyone else is having tick issues.

News Flash!!!

Peepers Don't Like Grapes!

Oh,

and they knocked over their thermal-meter & water dish last night. Looks like a change of bedding is in the near future.

Come on peepers - NIPPLES!

No, not at the moment, not at this house, but I do use preventative stuff on the dogs like frontline. We used to live downtown in one of the historic neighborhoods and that house was LOADED with ticks. It took us almost a year to rid the house and yard of them. We moved in and within 2 weeks, they were literally crawling upthe walls. I was ready to move right back out and sell. My poor dog was covered and that was after a tick dip. But your chickens should at least eat them, so I've heard, and I would treat the dog monthly until you don't see them anymore. Sounds like the neighbor has a bad problem and is sending them your way.

I'm at Gilbert/McKellips. Haven't seen a one. We have a lot of birds and don't spray. Of course, now I just jinxed myself and will find several this afternoon on my girl.
