Your brick path might do the trick alone depending on how tightly the bricks are set and how heavy they are. Do you think a coyote or stray dog could dig the bricks out? How much extra work would it be to put the wire down underneath the bricks?
It's in the backyard so coyotes & strays should not be a problem. I was thinking about under the pathway & up against the cinder block foundation, the chain link is 20" wide (about) but I will not be able to bend it like you did the wire.
