Looks good!

That came out really nice looking. Hope you got that little pipe problem under control without too much trouble.

I saw a Whizbang in action today at the poultry processing class. It's pretty awesome. Sheri Schmeckpeper and her husband, Bob, were fantastic people full of lots of good info. They processed their son's ducks brought up from Tucson. I didn't actually do the deed but I think I could after seeing it in action. Their aquaponics setup was great to see, too.

Thanks Tight!

The pipe turned out to be fresh water (thank goodness!) instead of septic. It was fixed pretty painlessly

I'm glad the class went well. Looks like 4 or so weeks to build a plucker!

Is anyone interested in a year old white Sultan hen? She has been getting picked on pretty badly by our NH (and now the others are joining in) since her sister drowned....now she's a loner. She lays white eggs and is sweet although getting skittish. She should mellow out again when she's not being beat up regularly. Sultans have big "poufs" on their heads like Silkies, and 5 toes.

One of her wings is missing a lot of feathers due to the picking, and has some blue kote on it. We have been calling her "Punk Rock" because of the blue kote

We would really like to find her a mellow home where she won't be attacked all of the time

We feel really bad for her and want her to be safe.

Any takers?

Here is a photo of her with her two sisters about 8 months ago.

please PM me if you can give her a good home! I would much rather she goes to someone from BYC than Craigslist. We just want her to be safe & happy

I am very fortunate to have a couple. No exploding you know what on the painted walls!

Ahhh, she is beautiful!! I hope you find a nice home for her. Unfortunately I think my flock would see her as a big fluffy play toy.

Thank you! She's a little ragged right now but should be a knockout again with a non-getting-her-butt-kicked environment.....
