Other than having to lean over to figure it out,

it looks great!
I was thinking it looked kinda big, but then saw the 50lbs and it made sense.. For a minute I thought it might just be me and my headache today.

I know it's kind of a weird perspective, but I rotated the pict before I put it up here and it was worse. It's only taped together so I could mock it up, so I can't orient it properly for ya.

Hope your headache feels better soonest.

It looks good so far! I'm sure you'll get it all worked out. I do like the idea of the feeder.

I don't see any bugs or any evidence of bugs. I though maybe I was overwatering, would that do it. Remember, I do NOT have a green thumb. I'm happy the darn things are even alive. But I really, really do want home grown tomatoes!

My first thought was the sun....when we had tomato plants the leaves did that during the day. check at night or better, early in the morn when its cool to see if they are still like that. if not then its the hot sun wilting them.

I was going to ask my hubby to weld one but it looks like way too much work. I'll just stick to my big cat feeder.
Where do you buy your metal? My husband was wondering where to get metal for projects.

Industrial metal supply has everything. Full retail prices though. American metals on Country Club & Broadway is more reasonable but more limited. Freeway metals for inexpensive steel stuff - not sure about non ferrous there though.

Oh and BTW - it is gong to be a ridiculous amount of work!

God forbid i miss a day, it takes me hrs to catch up!

I am interested in adding an EE to my flock anyone have any chicks available?
is it easier incorporating a new chick to the flock or a full grown hen?
and how long do you wait to add the new chick/hen to the flock?

I have almost 7 week olds still waiting to be added to my 7 mo old pullets. From what everyone told me,
they pretty much need to be about the same size before trying to combine. My chicks are in a converted
crib until they're the right size.
