I was just going to PM you this evening and see when we're going to do the deed.
We need to do a couple of batches. The big Cornish are ready but not the red broilers, they could go a few more weeks. I have the smaller Cornish, too. The packing peanuts from my youngest batch will take forever!

I was wondering if any one on here is in northern Phoenix (near Anthem), New River, or Black Canyon City???? We currently live in Northern Phoenix and are in the process of buying a house in New River. I was just looking for advice on coops. I have a few ideas, Id like to run by some veteran chicken owners. Thanks.

This is the first time I have heard of this. Checked out the website.... Do you just go to a few locations and check out their coop and flock? Do you know how many places you can go to roughly?? Thanks for the info.

I am not sure how many places you will be able to visit. This is my first time to go on a coop tour. Maybe another AZBYCer will know. Sorry , I can't be any more help. But all in all , sounds like fun. ALso stated that children under 18 are free with a paid adult admission.

This was listed under the Pressroom Heading...
"Tickets for the event go on sale the first week of November. Price of admission is $10 per adult and children under 18 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tourdecoops.org."
