I have a stray that looks very similar to Baby. But he is a tennisball hunting agility maniac

Here he is, a couple month after showing up, approx 1 year old (he ignores chickens, they don't look like tennis balls)

ca - Helga is on my second page (yes, I just keep making pages). Unfortunately, she passed away when she was only 7 months old....the whole story (and it's long) is on the "Beloveds" page.

Awwww! He looks like the older male lab that was with Baby! LOL Baby is a spaz. I'm pretty sure she'd chase the chickens.

We split an order from ideal.

All was as supposed to be although I think Tracy & I got a red broiler production red switched somewhere.

Next time will order different colors..

Actually, I'm on the list for Apenzeller Spitzhaubens! Though they're going to be straight run...

App. Spitz linkey

And BTW...

If I do Cornish again (assuming I'm not too freaked out next week) they're going to live in a tractor.

Those things are poop machines!

***Edited for completess***

That's cool, I didn't know you were getting Spitzhaubens! How wild!
Oh, Becky. Forgot about the Silky but who can sex those? They're straight run anyway.

CA-I had a Golden Retriever like your lab. And, I've had labs, too. Awesome dogs! I now have a Doberman and a papillon. Great agility dogs and retrievers. My papillon loves tennis balls, she squeezes them into her teensy weeny mouth!

I love the way they look! I've read that they're not fond of captivity so I've posted on the sptiz thread with my setup - we'll see what they say...

Totally not chicken related, but have you ever had one of those moments where you could just smack yourself....hard. My dad took forever to get his taxes done this year, so the second he did, I jumped online and filled out my FAFSA (which, for those who don't know, is the form you fill out to apply for grants to go to school - especially when your dad is self-employed and always shows a negative income, which leads to the max. amount of grant money to pay for tuition and books). Except, for some odd reason he felt it necessary to put LAST year's taxes in the same folder as THIS years and I just grabbed LAST years without looking at the date on the form.

Note to self: learn to read forms before you fill out official looking forms.
