BIG ROO 'ALBION' NEEDS NEW HOME!

Anyone have a large bunch of hens free run that wouldn't mind a very business like 5 month old Welsummer Roo. HE IS A BEAUTY. Unfortunately way to aggressive and I have young children that visit for art and 4H Club so need a friendly Roo.

Would love to exchange for a mature, proven gently big Roo of just about any breed?

I live in N AZ but never mind the adventure of a drive to new location and I have friends in Tucson!

Or any suggestions other than penning him up seperately, or putting him in stew pot. HE IS, AFTERALL, JUST BEING A ROOSTER!

Hey TT! Got some ideas on your planters (which are lovely).

Mixed in there I think you have: Gerbera daisies, Lamium, Ajuga, strawflowers, Petunias, Bacopa and Impatiens.

Quite a mixed group! A couple of others I can't quite figure. PM me if you want details on who is who.

Wadda ya tink?

I posted a question in the breeds section;

Is there a breed that has a liking for ants?

I got the usual sevin / aardvark answers

but two people also said silkies like em.

So here I am asking all'ya'all...

Is there any breed that has a propensity for ants?

um, where does one find a horney toad? are those the poisonous kind? i had gone to visit my lil sis in marana a few months back, and outside her front door was a HUGE toad! it was dead and i asked her about it. she said her dh(ex marine) shot it so the dogs wouldn't eat it cause it was poisonous.

i ended up having to put the partridge in a seperate space by herself. she was just pecking the you know what out of the other 3. once i seperated her out, all was well. allison's mom came this afternoon to pick them up and she will drive them up to cottonwood on tuesday. i sure do like that little grey one. i told allison if she doesn't work out, i will take her. she is so precious. the kids love the 3 little chicks and were very surprised. they are out in the growout pen with the ecoglow. thank you!
