I have been thinking about sending for eggs when I get a incubator but not sure where to get it from. Also I knowtest in that the more you buy the less the price? I want to send for mixed bantons. Anyone have any suggestions and would anyone want to go in with me on an order? How much luck has anyone had buying fertile eggs?

I've had decent success buying fertile eggs... and I've had folks that have had success with the fertile eggs I used to sell.

That said, here are the names of some breeders that I've had success with here on BYC.

Peachick: W/BW Ameraucanas (bluest eggs there are... I'll be hatching her eggs for Easter)
bargain: speckled sussex, Easter Eggers, Leghorns
Hot2Pot: Polish
The Sheriff: Icelandics
NotaFarm: Icelandics (I'll also be hatching her eggs for Easter)
kathyinmo: Silver Laced Wyandottes, Heritage Barred Rocks, New Hampshires, Icelandics
BostonBryce: FBCMs, Icelandics. (great fertility)

I currently have 36 eggs in the bator, 32 purebred w/bw Ameraucanas and 4 Olive Eggers, 21 came from WhiteMountainRanch and the rest from my coop. Can't wait to candle on Saturday.

Check the egg auctions......very different than our old BST, but seems like it will work until something better comes along.

Right now Hot2Pot (from Mahroni's list) has bantam cochin eggs listed.

Hi! I'm new, just checking things out and learning! I have 25 ornamental layer chicks from MM due to be here Jan 28th- Feb 1st! I'm REALLY excited! =D ! It will be my first time raising chicks so I am reading everything I can! Not trying to be a lurker! I was unaware you all could see me..lurking... :/ Haha!

Ok heres a dumb question or not. How do you find these people. I look up Dipsy Doodle Doo and you can't pm her and I don't see where she has her email? Don't know what thread she is on?
