AZBootsie - you're in!Mikey- My vote is for blue. Youth XS, Adult L, XL and XXL. This is fun. Thank you for making it work out!! I hate that you had that awful experience with the shipped chicks. I think sometimes it just happens. You need an incubator!! The babies you hatch yourself are soooo much healthier!! Going from Incubator to warm brooder and eating hours after hatching versus being pulled out of a toasty environment and tossed in a shipping box for days of travel....HUGE difference.
Fuzzy- Graphics look great!! You did good. I will call Denise today or tomorrow and make arrangements to deliver the other fuzzybutt.
Mama Hen Chris- You are Chicken Crazy!!!!! Purse is adorable!!
Gallo- Still waiting for my friend to decide what day to do the Tucson Gem Show. I will let you know as soon as she makes up her mind.
Mahorni- Sorry your chick died. I was looking forward to seeing what those feathers turned out like.
You're in Noel!i am in for shirts too.
one youth small
two youth medium
one adult small
i vote for NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would much rather have pink, but i think that would get tossed real quick.
I know I'm new here and I love all the information available here, but has anyone ever approached the site owners and suggested creating an AZ sub-forum? This way we can start seperate threads instead of continuing one long thread. Thanks for all the tips I've gotten off of this thread! We've gotta get ready for the Summer now!
Mikey D, Thanks for you efforts in the shirts. I however don't wear/can't stand wearing t-shirts and I don't think my girls would wear them either as the have tons and always tell me they don't want to wear them. How are the surviving chicks doing? My two are doing pretty good but I can't get the sugar out of the ones feathers. I've tried washing it a couple times and it won't come out. I wouldn't worry much about it but it's right by her eye and the other one keep pecking at her.
I can't be counted on going to the show but sounds fun. I am going to try to plan it but depends on the coop development, husband, kids completion of chores and attitude.
So, I'm in school with my 1st grader (I home school) and my 3 year old comes in and says that my 21 month old daughter in "in the honey". I was also nursing my 5 1/2 month old (I multitask) at the time. So, I put the baby down and walk out to the kitchen and find that she has painted the counter and herself with honey...$12 a jar raw honey. She was using it like finger paint she could eat. Soooo, she got shower #2 today. The first shower was when she decided that diaper rash ointment was hair gel. At least they didn't make a "beach" for me out of the cream of wheat and corn starch...that was last time.
mikey, i was kinda thinking the same thing with the backyardchickens.com too, except "it's cheep therapy". i have that bumper sticker on my surburbanand yes, i know there is NOTHING cheap about this hobby!![]()
i like smiles n sunshine's idea of just using the original BYC logo, sunrise and all! why fix it if it's not broken????? and besides, we all know we are on the az forum. just sayin....ok, go ahead and throw your eggs at mei don't conform.![]()
