Mahonri, please ask him what he would do to curb Chinese economic penetration of our country? The Chinese are buying big grain farms in Brazil and Argentina. While the grain will be produced in those countries, it will be shipped to China or sold on the world market. People in those countries would have to buy their own grain back.

Now, Sinopec has been buying into US energy firms (Devon) and will control vast amounts of the newly discovered shale gas fields. It is bad enough that Obama nixed the Keystone Pipeline. Can we afford to let the Red Chinese control our energy sources?

I was down at Western Ranchman and apparently Nutrena is running a deal where when you buy three bags of feed, you get a re-usable hard plastic egg-carton.

I don't really like Nutrena, but I reaaaaaally liked those egg cartons.

So Blackie, my FBCM hen that I suspected as an internal layer, died today. She was OK this am, ate a little, drank a little, but steadily deteriorated through out the day. She died peacefully.
