Arizona Chickens

Only 43? I guess I have room for a couple dozen more...

I never said I didn't want those Wellies!

Of course I do silly!

I'm just going to have to sleep with them when they show up.

oh good. you scared me! my monsters are on spring break that week so you can come and see my house in all it's glory! the beagle will howl, twin b will play 50 questions with you, twin a will be sweet until you leave and the boy will spend the whole time pretending your not here. oh, and be prepared to get bitten by the silkie bug! my silkies don't actually have bugs, it's just an expression............

Very, very nice Chris!

I knew I was going to be jealous.

My little grow out pen is on the opposite end as is yours. I do not have a mini coop there as there is electrical access.

I love the BBQ island!

And the chicken setting on the "keep-em-out" baby gate is priceless!

I just wrote a reply and POOF it disappeared. Crap!!

Thanks Mikey.

Hubby built the BBQ.

What the back yard looked like 10 years ago when we moved in. Not a single thought about chickens!

That's Millie on the fence. Seems she doesn't understand that is supposed to keep her out. Actually, when I go in the house, she is the first one to jump over to come to the door. Mama may be getting treats for her.

We were actually really hoping we ended up with a roo EE...but, ...I don't want it to be a mean EE roo...poor pullets...ouch! Good thing is, Mothra (the aggressive 2 day old EE, named after the giant moth in the Godzilla movies) is not so aggressive to the poults and other chicks in which she shares her brooder with (that is, if she is a she at all, and I am hoping she is actually a he
