Arizona Chickens

Welcome to all the newcomers. This is a great thread and terrific people here.

Mikey-hoping this new med works. It is so frustrating not knowing what is wrong with the peepers. I am very sorry about your current losses.

I liked the bag Arpey, would the straps be strong enough to use it for groceries?

Nice pics Fuzzybird and Puffycheeks!

Yes-- I made the straps shorter and the bag smaller intentionally. It's *very* simple to make. There are many "how to's" in the forum and online. Search for "feed bag tote" or the like. If you have a little experience with a sewing machine, it could be done in no time.

I would surely be interested in keeping some of the soluable powder on hand too just in case I ever needed it. Seems it would be a little easier to work with than the injectible. From what I researched the powder says for poultry on the label.

Tammy read that someone forced this stuff down their throats - I think I'm liking the needles better.

Also this stuff does not need to be refrigerated.

Tammy & I shaved almost a half hour off of yesterday's "bird injection time".

This morning there was not a runny beak to be found.

Keep in mind the we already put down anyone who had any "serious" symptoms.

My beautiful wife had done a bunch of research on this and it seems three days is the best course.

(Just imagine what she'd be like if she even liked chickens!

My heart feels lighter than it has in weeks, maybe months.

How many times have you said to yourself, "If I knew then what I know now."

I think this Tylan stuff is the way to go - now let's see what happens over the long haul.

Healthy day to you all!
