Arizona Chickens

I would think that a product for dogs would be way to toxic for the birds.  PLEASE check the ingredients out and make sure4 they are not toxic to birds.  Birds are alot more suseptible to toxins than other animals.  Sometimes things are OK once they are dry but that would be difficult.  How about dusting with SEVIN DUST or the poultry dust which is made for such nasty little problems.  Good luck with what you decide.

thank you

My daughter went to collect the eggs. She found one and was bringing it back into the house. A fly landed on her leg, Agave (our turkey) saw the fly. The turkey pecked at the fly, which startled my daughter, and my daughter dropped the egg. The egg broke and a swarm of cluckers came over and devoured the egg. I told my daughter..."Now Agave knows that you poop out an egg like a chicken when he pecks at your leg." My daughter: "NOOOOOO!!!!"

Most hilarious reason to be denied an egg..... so worth it =)   Kids + poultry = endless amusement and fun! LOL!

Too Funny

I just have a question. Can you buy baby chicks all summer long here or do they stop selling them when it gets really hot? I wanted to wait until I move my 2 little ones into their new coop before I got more but I don't want to miss out.

I have a free blue silkie rooster, we thought it was a girl, but it's a boy and we can't keep him. My other rooster just started attacking him, so I need to find him a home fast. He is one of Aurorarose's chicks.
I posted this to my facebook. There are a few others on it that have chickens and might be willing.
