Arizona Chickens

So where do you purchase this stuff and what is it called again?
Yes I put it in all my animals feed , If I get feed in the barrels i just add a cup and mix it in or spinkle some on a treat or on the hay ect . it does something to the animals poo ,no more smell and flys stay off the horses and kills worms. Also I dust my dogs with it and put around theyre kennels . kills fleas like crazy . also ants trying to get theyre food and scopions . I use it all over my property ,all animals chickens , rabbits horses, donkeys, dogs everybody here. ( Keep out of eyes and nose it is very drying including yourself ) This stuff is amazing ! Nature is great

I got myself a super Mother's Day surprise! I don't have any human kids. Was over to a friend of Denise's that also raises goats and she has a lot of them. One little one was not doing so well for she was very tiny and needed extra attention even tho she was with her mother goat along with her sibling. This friend says she doesn't feel she can sell her but if she could find a home for her to nurse her and maybe she could make it, for this little gal has some nerve trouble to altho she is doing good right now. I said I would!! So this tiny 9 week old girl that is half the size of the 5 week old boys is my new baby! She still gets a bottle for she is so behind those her own age. I named her TRINKET! So if you guys can send up a prayer that she lives I would love you for it!

She has big blue eyes!

Beautiful,congratulations!!!

Sorry for the goat pictures. Hope not getting anyone mad. I just have to share this exceptional picture I snapped yesterday! I must first tell you that when the goats are going to have babies most of the time they are separated from the herd but many times they do have one friend that stays with them that is also PG. When you put the herd back together they spar to decide who will be boss. Kate for the first time wanted to be boss and she sparred with the first and second in command for that right. Now they seldom hurt each other, more of a order in the herd that has to be done. I think this is a awesome picture!

Puffy the blond boy that I call Karman is bigger for he is Kates son and part Nubian/Boer. His daddy is Nigerian. He will be no bigger than Kate. If you think he is to big for you let me know.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!

Of my 5 chicks that are 5 weeks old, I think 3 are roos. I have 3 blue marans and 2 of them have good sized combs and the third hardly has a comb at all. The Black Orp also has a good sized comb and the Olive egger had no comb. The tail feathers on those three are also larger than the others. So I think the Black Orp and 2 of the marans are cockerels. I can post pics if anyone wants to take a guess.

If I'm right, is there anyone out there interested in the cockerels? I'm going to try to keep the two pullets, but I can't have roos.

The black orp had a little mole-looking growth on it's head that I was a little concerned with. The skin on the back of it's head looks "thickened", too. He's acting normally, I'm just watching it to see if it gets any worse.

Also, when do the mama hens kick out the babies? Mine has started laying eggs again and she squats for me now, too. She also is A LOT more vocal and doesn't hang out with the chicks as much when they're out. For some reason I was thinking 10 weeks. Anyone know?

I like all the goat pictures. They are so cute!
