Arizona Chickens

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I checked around a bit, and the cheapest way is to order it directly from the company. Not as fun as diy, but much easier. :D

Got an egg from my youngest chicken!!! What does this mean? All of my chickens are old enough to lay eggs! Operation Get Lots of Eggs, BEGIN!!!

I try to do it as a treat once a day. I have only found the worms at one Walmart over on southern west of power road. Anyone know of any where else to get them?

Pet stores carry them but they are kept in the back in the fridge. The cold slows down the life cycle process. They don't want to give customers beetles.

Congrats!! Egg time. We have 9 laying age chickens. 2 are on strike, leaving 7 to lay. I get 6 eggs a day and we have 0 supply left over. I eat 4 a day (normally) and my husband has 2. No, I don't have high cholesterol.

I made egg drop soup last night! Ok ok, so it was my version of egg drop soup

I used beef stock and added some delicious mushroom soysauce (purchased at LeeLees asian market), thickened it with corn starch..then beat about a dozen eggs in a seperate bowl (set aside) then turned down the soup to a simmer (I like it thick!) to cook the corn starch...then slowly stirred the soup base as I slowly poured the beaten eggs into the soup...forming egg ribbons. It was delicious! Great way to use eggs =)
