Ok this has nothing to do with Silkies but I have to share. We have peafowl and I wanted to share with you all what it looks like when one is in flight . Mine are not quite 3 yet but I cant wait until they get older.

They are so beautiful I wish I could let mine roam but they are great flires and so many of our neighbors that do all ended up with losses.mine are 2 1/2 now and my male is starting to get a longer train and starting to get his first few eye feathers in now so we are adding to the pen this year to make it a extra 30ft to the now just 10x10 since they were little . Later I would love to have a pair of Purple and whites so i can breed to get the blue and white halfs

She is a laying machine! All she wants to be is broody all the time. These eggs would be sired by Tumbleweed. She always throws a bunch of blacks. I always thought if she was a paint than a black from her back to a paint would be a good breeding. might be you would like to try that.
