Arkansas Blue egg layers

Rooster lives off premises, then? That makes sense. I was thinking how pushy my rooster is first thing in the morning and how I wish I could separate him during the evening/morning hours.

It is a good idea to separate them too. It is something people do with fertility problems and help with bare spots from over breeding.

I really love my little Arkansas rooster, he is the quietest rooster I have had, and he is very easy on the girls - I have seen him breeding on a regular basis, but no feather loss, and he is very easy going.

Since I only have 1 Ab hen, I will put him over my 4 CL girls as well - should get some nice blue egg layers out of them, and they should also be sexable at hatch (at least that is my understanding)

Yes, they will be sexable.
