Yes, I will be hatching them.

Ah ! ok - well - I hope they all hatch for you ! They are on the way ! Whoot.
I hope they hatch well too!

I will use baskets at lockdown to keep them separate--although the Marans will not look like the Ark. blues.

Do you think we might have them hatch by the week of May 18th. Im planning on picking up some feed store chicks that week and was thinking to raise them together. (Delaware and Welsumer and maybe some NH) They should be close in age around then.

Yes, they should be ready then. I have had the blues hatch over a longer than normal time but the hatch chart says day 21 will be May eleven so they should be hatched and ready by then.

I hope we get a good hatch!

Yay @ronott1 & @caychris !

I'd still love to get a splash pullet some day.
I love these feisty girls.
We will try later getting more here this summer--there are a couple willing to send eggs for shipping cost so that we can get them established.

I love the two blue girls I have here.

We will see what we get ive been pen building as best as I can to be ready for more chicks.
I have 10 eggs in the Brinsea. I will candle today or tomorrow--It is 5 days of incubation now.

Put around 25 eggs in the incubator this morning, some are older than 10 days so we shall see how they do. Hoping for a blue boy! Of course that means that any blues will be pullets

Yep ! You cursed it !

Too bad you are not close to me - after this breeding season I'd be glad to give you my blue boy .... as I would like a new roo for my flock for next year.
