Arkansas Blue egg layers

Actually I still have not been able to separate my chickens out, I have had some family health issues that have taken up a lot of my time but I should be able to do that this week or by the weekend. Once I get my eggs set and incubating, I will be able to start shipping some

I hope health is improving!

A couple of weeks ago the school that my wife works at was using solvent on the roof of her building while the children were present. on the morning of the second day, she was overcome by the fumes.

The silly school sent her in for stroke screening. Of course she did not have a stroke...she was poisoned by solvent fumes....:he

Someone once dumped some sort of solvent in a sewer uphill from us and flooded my office with noxious fumes. We had to shut down for the rest of the day and call the sewer department to come and air out the sewer line. All they could do was add Dawn and flush with water.

Any thoughts on Whiting Blue vs AB ? chestnut coloring in roos ? Do we give up starting the breed of AB and call ours WB now to appeal to the general public ???

That asked - I will have 6-7 fertile pure AB eggs -- can ship - flat rate, boxed, packaged, extra if they come and AB mixed with Spitzhauben extra eggs if you want - $50 My roo is grey splash with no chestnut coloring - have grey spash and white splash hens.

I finally have had the time to get my pens set up, and to hatch some chicks. I have a broody Basque that will get some eggs, and more for the incubator. After everything is set I should be in a position to give away some eggs, maybe as soon as next week. I have 8 hens and they are laying well. Blue roo over 6 blue, one black, and one splash. I have had 2 blue roos in but took out the boy with red leakage yesterday; so if anyone is concerned about that you may want to wait a few weeks.

I could also send along a few ABxCL eggs, marked, they would produce autosexing chicks if anyone is interested.

I have finally had the time to separate my birds and am now collecting eggs to set in my incubator. I should have extras as soon as next week, with 8 hens laying very well. I can also send along some ABxCL eggs, marked, that would produce autosexing chicks, and ABxWelsummer which should give you a nice olive egger if there is any interest.
