Well 2 nights ago I finally got my eggs set. 11 under a broody hen - she is at an least 4 year old Basque hen that has never gone broody before, but she is tenacious. She was moved to a little mobile coop, and seems as happy as any completely obsessed creature can be.

Then another 27, along with 3 ABxWelsummer and 1 ABxDelaware (not in the pic) just for fun in the incubator

The eggs from @1muttsfan have hatched!

11 went into lockdown and 9 hatched. I do not expect the last two to hatch but they are still in the incubator.

There are mostly blue and splash chicks. They are so cute!

My four or five year old first time mother squashed the first one that hatched out, but she has another one that has hatched since and seems to be doing better. Several eggs are peeping so I only took a quick look. Incubator hatching progresses.
