ARKANSAS Chicken or Eggs SWAP

Farmer's Association put together the swap. As it turns out, there was not a tester today as far as I know, although there has been at all the others they have been to as best I remember. An oversight or miscommunication I'm sure. Farmers has been very good about loaning the use of the parking lot, and has been firm about following all the rules.

Didn't make any difference with us as we are NPIP. It was cold, and wet, and the turnout was poor.

i tell you, it sure was hard to come home without some of those legbar, but our couch isnt very comfortable and i'd prolly get sentanced to atleast a week if i came home with more peepin chicks. the ol lady is bout tired of consant peeps already this spring

We ended up with no "seminar", but Elias and I both talked from about 9 AM till after 4 PM. It was a blast! His wife Ashley worked the booth table inside the building and Elias and I visited in the Pavilion with our birds. Met so many folks!

I started a similar group on Facebook Valle River Valley Chicken and Egg Swappers...more aimed at The River Valley but anyone is welcome. Add me as a friend, Kara Baker, and then you can join the group!!!

I have 3 heritage RIR cockerels available if anyone needs one. These are from Underwood lines. I have SC and RC. They are a November hatch.

I also have 2 Sicilian Buttercup Bantam cockerels that are fully fledged and out from under heat lamps.

If anyone in south Ark has a black or lav orpington cockerel for sale please let me know. I am also looking for GLW pullets or hens. I have two cockerels and only one girl for them. I have to trade the boys out and they definitely don't like not having their little lady for a few days!

Thanks!
