Hey De, I thought about calling Amanda to get your number and see if we could come see the rabbit today or tomorrow, but I had stinking car trouble. I think my Dad got it running pretty well after driving out to Sparkman and tinkering with it, but I'm not sure just yet. I'm kind of afraid of driving it any direction other than Arkadelphia and back right now in case I break down.

Wish we could make it down there.

Well, I'm going home....I HOPE I make it! I had to come to town for my daughter's dance thing, couldn't miss that, but I had eggs pipping when I left, so I need to get back.

Scot, are you having to buy egg cartons? I bought some, but try to use used ones when I can get people to save them for me. As for getting any of my cartons back, I haven't gotten a single one back yet. sad Each ones cost around 35 cents, and that was with a free shipping special that eggcartons.com had.

Thankfully we have managed to only buy 10. They are only 19 cents at farmer's association, which ain't too bad. My grandmother faithfully returns cartons to me, but other than her it get's iffy. Last time we had everyone together and I handed out eggs, I said in a playful way we were running out of cartons and if we didn't get them back - you don't get eggs!

Glad your wife isn't going to kick you out, lol! She seemed like a sweetheart when I met her.

I think my hatch is about done. I've got 18 out of 24. 3 EE's, 5 EE/Frizzle, 3 Brahma crosses, 2 unknown breed banty, and 5 Cuckoo Marans. My broody isn't doing well. She had 2 partially hatched dead chicks under her this morning. They were pipped at wrong end of egg and butt exposed, not beak or face.

I finally got my surprise egg box. My husband had to go all the way in to town to get it because a sub driver didn't want to take the time to deliver the package! I was so ticked!

I have 9 Standard Light Brahmas, 5 Giant Partridge Cochin, 3 BLRW, 1 Black Maran, 2 Splash Maran, and 4 Black Copper Maran to set after this hatch is done for sure as well as 12 Black Jersey Giants that should be delivered today. Still have a bunch of guinea eggs and a duck egg in the bator and a few silkie eggs that I think are duds.
