How is popcorn doin? Did you ever find any more Welsummers? I saw some hatching eggs on eBay from Gabbard farms.

Popcorn hatched an egg earlier this summer and she has a baby we named Pepper.

I found a Welsummer breeder that lives West of Fort Smith that I am going to get some chicks from next Spring.

The Cuckoo Marans you gave me we named Domino and she was the one that hatched the chicks the snake ate 2 of. Poor girl is still really upset! She pecked my hand this morning when I tried to pet her.

They are a cool breed. I think we are going to try a new breed. We are planning on getting some Barnevelder hatching eggs from Gabbard pretty soon. Have you looked at that website? They are in NW AR. www.gabbardhatchingeggs.com Pretty cool stuff - I have noticed they do sell on ebay as well, and the eggs go for alot less than what the site lists them for - just FYI
