Dawn, I hope you get to feeling better soon, and your whole bunch. I've had the ick too, but don't think it's H1N1. I only had a touch of fever, just felt sick all over, but I think I'm pulling out of it today. The kids had it too, but only one of them had fever, so I think we just had a bad cold or flu.

Yikes! As close as we live to the Saline river.....and it gets water from EVERYWHERE, so even if we didn't get 7" of rain here in town it will come down from everywhere else!

WE live at the top of a hill, but Benton as a whole is kindof in a valley. We're friends with people who actually live ON the river so it could be really bad for them!

oooooooo The guy that I got my BSL chicks from has some more! He's selling them on Craiglist for $1 so I'm gonna get some replacements. They are just about a week younger than the ones that I already have, so maybe I can integrate them!

Are slightly older chicks still pretty safe without quarantine? Coz these are approx 2.5 weeks old now.
