The El Dorado Show is open for viewing tonight from 3 to 9 in the show barn at the fairgrounds. opens at 7 in the morning and judging starts at 9.

OK, so did anyone else go to the El Dorado Show? Those RIR roosters were huge! I wish they had more chickens for sale. I had to leave before I got in trouble by buying one of the week-old goats. I did get a used still air incubator for $20. Sadly there were no buckeyes for me to look at and learn about. There were some of everything else that I have, though, BTW Japanese, a couple of siver sebrights and quite a few OEGB. and silkies and cochin bantams of course.

Glad you guys enjoyed the show. I didn't get to go this time. My boys had a preseason tournament Sat all day. My 11 year old's team won their tournament! We really enjoyed watching the games.

I hear there is another show in May at Little Rock. I'm going to plan to go to that one.

And an update for De and Amanda - I candled my EE and mixed eggs last night and it looks like everyone is growing well. Of the 18 eggs, only 3
I had to draw question marks on for possibly being infertile, there were no blood rings. All of the mixed eggs are growing good. I'll look again in about 3 days.

Rbamterry......one of my crele pullets looks like she might be a BBR. I think the hatchery slide one in there. I did get a few extras. Sorry for any misspellings. The kitten is chewing on my arm.

I think De would have gotten 1st on her cockerel (6 month old) but someone had entered a roo (long spurs and everything)

as a cockerel -- So the more mature one got first,
