Arkansas folks speak up.........

I got across the road where the animals are and the wind had blown down parts of my goose pen. One was tangled in the fence. One had gotten outside the yard and I had to rescue her from the dogs. Her back is pretty abraded, but I didn't find any punctures, I hope she will be OK. The others were safely checking out the sheep pasture.

No damage at our house but the Tornado sirens did go off but it disipated before it made it to us (thankfully). We have had reports locally of some trees down and we had client in at work today who had a branch fall on her car and dented the roof and busted the windshield.

Far as I can tell we just have some trash that blew into our yard from goodness knows where. The ladies insisted on being outside anyway so there are some ruffled feathers but not as bad as we have had a couple times before. We live in the foothills of the Ozarks and don't see a lot of tornado activity but the straightline winds can be vicious. One of my rabbit does kindled last night just a couple hours before it got crazy. There are 8 kits and they are fine, I took a risk and left them outside last night with the momma, but when I woke up and saw how crazy the wind was this morning I took them inside. They don't look any worse for wear, she's a good momma but I'm done with risk taking, they are just too precious lol. We got at least 5 different color patterns in this one litter.

I wouldn't be able to tell if my neighbor's trash blew into my yard or not, with what I've got scattered over mine. But, if there was a hundred dollar bill did then I might could tell.

How'd everyone weather the storm last night?

Let see.....2 dogs terrified by storms, checking on 2 horse (freaked out cause I couldn't find 1), lost 1 young Japanese, and it blew the makeshift roof off our raised double pen . Pretty good for a VERY windy storm. oh! And the wind tried to take off with one of our trashcans that holds our horse feed today. :)

I will need to replace some of my coop's roof, but everyone was fine, just mad cause they couldn't free range but I plan on letting them out in a little bit. So all in all we faired pretty well, could have been worse...
