Took the babies out into there new pen today for a little outing! They loved it! stretched wings and got to meet the big chickens, thru a wired fence, they dust bathed and ran around. They truly loved it! Got the garden tilled up and most spring plants are planted!

Anyone want to go in on some quail in NWA? Also if you haven't been to Neighbors in Elkins your are missing out. Great establishment and some of the best assortments for chicks I've ever seen.

As of right now 8 duck eggs in incubator and 5 on counter should be 7 by Tuesday will hope full get silkie pen finished this week so the silkies can go in yard I've been hardening them for 2 weeks now got to till garden plot again for 2nd time this week and need to clip my chickens wings in pen the 3 month olds have started flying up on my deck rail that's a10ft leap from the ground!!! Any hints on howto get my muscoveys to start laying lol iI'm kinda impatient and ready to put their eggs in incubator to haha

Candled first **** eggs and 2 of the 8 had red ringed on me :-( so they are tossed still have 6 eggs in incubator and will be adding another 7tmrw my chicken eggs have started hatch barn yard mix so far 6 of the 70 in the bator have hhatched today is the real hatch day so expecting some more chicks to hatch out overnnight lol got a buy feed gonna stock up and more hay
