Okay guys & gals, I've pretty much decided on the chickens I want. 4 white [Columbian] Delaware & a Roo, as well as 1 Sussex hen for brooding, since I've read that the Delaware "CAN be broody)".

Now, if someone can point me in the right direction for me to get them, or if you have them to sell I'd appreciate it.

I live in Poteau, just a few minutes from Fort Smith.

I live in El Dorado and am completely new to chicken raising. I got my chicks from the Atwoods here and they are about 8 weeks old

babies are hatching now! i've got 2 out, but around 40 in all.....another very busy weekend! wish this weather would behave!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i can't ever get anything done with it raining and or cold all the time. so if anyone needs some chicks, i should have a whole tub full by monday

AND we're only about a week away from getting our first ever order of chickies!!! We are getting a little excited over here!

Although with this cruddy weather we are not nearly as far along on coop/run building as we had hoped.
