I would probably wrap the bator in a towl/blanket for the trip and then put them near a fire place or some heat source that doesn't necessarily blow air. That could dry them out. Moisture is important while they are hatching.

I am no expert, that's just what I would do. Don't know if it is the best advice. Good luck.

Yes, I am. At least I'm not adding bonnets and boots to them! Yet anyway. Can't you just picture a handsome Naked Neck manly rooster in a bonnet?
