We ended up catching the Farmers' Coop. before they closed today, and picked up a 5lb bag. I was trying to find a place that didn't charge exorbitant rates for smaller-poundage bags. We've just got the three hens, so I don't exactly need a ton, but the tiny 1lb bags from pet stores was just too pricey.

I bought a big bag about 2 years ago. Still got plenty left. At least it doesn't go bad. Our local TSC has the small bags. But there high.

I lived in Jacksonville when I was a little kid, but my dad in the AF moved us away, just moved back down here from NH after 25 yrs. and now call Little Rock home, and sure glad to be back home!!
