Our neighbor's hen has her first eggs, the boys are already excited for ours to start laying even though we've got a ways to go. *chuckles*

Got creles hatching this Friday. The girls just finished molting and are starting to pop out the eggs.

Its been a long wait.

My two buckeye hens came off the nest with two chicks. I checked the nest and ended up with about a dozen cold eggs, some of them cheeping, to carry to the incubator. I hope some of them make it!

No one is talking about going to the Arkansas spring livestock fair coming up this weekend. Anyone on byc going?

I may drop by Friday afternoon while I am in Little Rock, but family issues is keeping away Saturday.

We're going and some of us are getting together a BBQ for lunch. Drop by and see us. It's at the State Fairgrounds in the Starr Barn. Saturday the barn opens at 7:00. Judging begins at 9:00.

BTW, if anyone has a Showgirl hen or some EE hens for sale that they could bring there, I might be interested.
