Arkansas Meet-Ups, Swaps and Such

I was going to call the PO on Monday to see if they have set any restrictions.  Was it you who said Dr. Bramwell was not giving out eggs until things clear up or did I hear that from someone else?

I think gat was Crystak that posted that. caj1985.

I think you are correct.

For anyone interested -----

Auction at London Saturday the 4th. Auction starts at 10:00.

I know someone who plans on bringing some silkies and some showgirl chicks. Who knows what else will be available!!!

Spring has sprung! come on out!

Auction Saturday in London.  Starts at 10:00.  If you are selling be there early for testing.

I'll be there.  Hopefully see someone there! :idunno

I'm still thinking about it. I really need to stay and try to sell these chicks that are hatching. I'm just a little leery about sitting them out off the ace with the AI going around.

I'd hate to have to take them up there and have to pay for everyone of them to be tested.
Not know what they'd bring. I need a least $3.50 to $4.00 each to even out having to pay the test rate. Is it .50 there too?

I can't remember the rate. I've slept since last time.

I'll let you know after tomorrow. I know what you mean about making it cost effective, plus the AI risk right now.

Tomorrow won't really be profitable for me but I will remove 3 roos that are in my way and hopefully will get something decent for them since they are full bloods. I already have one that I am trading for 4 silkie chicks.. She offered me some showgirls but I just couldn't do it.

hoping they are all girls or I will be doing this again in a few months. Top that off with my Phoenix broodies are due to hatch Tuesday. They have 8 eggs total so who knows what may or may not pop out of that.

I learned yesterday that London will have another auction on the 18th, all poultry, starting at noon.

I also learned that the Russellville farmers Co-op does chicken swaps every Saturday in their parking lot.

Happy Easter everyone!
