It's a lovely morning here!!!!!!!!!!!!! just about to go back out and visit with my chook's,its going to be a very nice day,fall is coming,leaves falling everywhere,buzzy is doing so well and miss peck's alot is not being mean,such a relief and i have a wonderful flock here as well to uplift and encourage me,what a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i will be back to say hello's and learn more to help my chook's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow that's awesome,small world!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it here,have lived her 35 years total,i'm a okie,but loved this area as it is just like where i grew up!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you

Back to journal my day,well hubby decided to get to work on my new pathway to the pond and coop,i will be posting pic's soon,also after some thought we decided to build a big run,for when we are away visiting the kid's etc!!!!!!!! so thats in the works,we want our chook's to be well protected,they free range daily but i won't want them to if we are away,so lot's of building and thinking going on around here,as we live in the country we have to watch out for predater's,it's become a habit to set the catch cage's every night,i know prob excessive but that's just me,lol.
we haven't caught anything the past couple of day's,which is good,with fall and winter around the corner i'm sure coon's and such will be stalking soon,but they will find themselves across the river,hopefully the chicken's are as safe as they can be,tonight they had alot of fun running around scratching in the dirt and foraging for that last bug before time to coop up,our roo did a really funny thing,he stretched up tall and straight like he was going to crow,just stood there for about 3 min's,didnt crow but sure did make me laugh,i did get a pic,kinda blurry but it was funny!
mom and i just busted out laughing,he usually sit's on my lap,but tonight he went to granny and gave a rare snuggle,he's growing up! he talk's alot and i'm sure glad he's so sweet,i remember as a child being attacked by gran's rooster,not a pleasant thing to happen,so far he's good natured.
it's been a wonderful day,i'm tired ,happy and so blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh,busy day,hubby working on the new path still,i have 3 tiny zebra finch egg's,moved the momma,pappa and nest into the brooder cage,they are singing and taking care of their egg's,so excited,new baby finches soon,she laid them yesterday,i was going to leave them in the aviary but the budgie's got to nosy and keep going in the nest so it was time to move them,momma zee was not happy about the budgies sitting on her egg's,to say the least!
so thats all done and they are inside now singing and content,i next went to work on the landhermit crab 120 gal tank,cleaning and redecorating it ,took a break to come see everyone here.
this is one side of it,
so ive been busy,totally redoing the whole tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the chook's are enjoying much cooler weather today,it's 84 and light rain,so it's so nice,after i get all the crab's done i will clean and ready the inside aviary for the budgie's to move back into
just another crab above thats bullet,lol.
i'm tired,mom say's im doing to much but i know when its time to bring all the bir'd in everything has to be in order! ok i'm a little OCD,not alot maybe a little,haha.i'm so loving this flock and loving all the wonderful bird ppl,yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
